Arrive at your US departure airport ready to board a flight to London, the capital of the United Kingdom.
*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
Arrive in London and self-transfer to the hotel (transfer options available). Enjoy the entire day at your leisure. Take this time to familiarize yourself with your new surroundings; the perfect way to get to know London at your own pace. We recommend visiting the London Eye, the world's largest cantilevered observation wheel standing at 135 meters tall for an incredible panoramic view of the city! Overnight stay in London.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, take part in a panoramic visit of London where you will get to visit some of the capital city’s most emblematic sites, including: the iconic Buckingham Palace, the Westminster, St. James Park, and the National Gallery, among others.
Later, embark on a brief cruise ride along the River Thames that will offer you a different perspective of London.
Following this, you will head to the famous university town of Cambridge where you will visit the Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial. With 30.5 acres in total, The Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial site in England contains the remains of 3,811 of our war dead; 5,127 names are recorded on the Walls of the Missing. Rosettes mark the names of those since recovered and identified. Most died in the Battle of the Atlantic or in the strategic air bombardment of northwest Europe. Overnight stay in Cambridgeshire.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be heading north to make your way to York, one of the most important cities in English history and religion. En route, stop by the royal Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, known primarily for the legend of Robin Hood, where you will take part in a brief visit of the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, take in the beauty of this location’s flora and fauna and stop for refreshments.
Upon arriving in York, take part in a guided walking tour of the city and visit the magnificent York Minster, one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the country (entrance not included). Overnight stay in York.
Breakfast at the hotel. Make your way to England’s northwestern corner of Cumbria and the spectacular landscapes of Lake District. This is where modern tourism was born; in the shimmering lakes and sublime mountains that inspired poets and painters to turn nature into art. After this, embark on a cruise along the incredibly beautiful lake Windermere.
From here, you will continue on to Liverpool where you will take part in a guided panoramic tour of the city and stop by its most emblematic sites. The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure, the perfect opportunity for you to acquaint yourself with Liverpool’s colorful nightlife. Overnight stay in Liverpool.
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave Liverpool to make your way to Stratford-Upon-Avon, colloquially known as the city of Shakespeare. Stratford-Upon-Avon is particularly admired for its quaint side streets with unique shops and open parklands along the river.
After some free time, continue towards Oxford, home to the oldest English-speaking university in the world, and take part in a guided city tour stopping at its most emblematic sites and learning about its 39 colleges and rich history. Overnight stay in Oxford.
Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a journey towards Stonehenge, one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world. Built in several stages spanning over 5000 years, Stonehenge continues to be a very popular tourist attraction which sees thousands of travelers from around the globe visiting the archaeological site every year.
After stopping at Stonehenge, make your way to the city of Windsor, home to the iconic Windsor Castle. Windsor Castle (entrance fee not included) is the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world, one of the official residences of His Majesty The King, and the late Queen Elizabeth II's favorite weekend home.
Enjoy some leisurely time to grab some lunch and go souvenir shopping before returning back to the capital city. Overnight stay in London.
